What does a “summer afternoon” mean or feel like to you….?
This is the topic over at Studio Friday.
Lazy days of summer usually means : Lemonade, Iced Tea, Drive-in Movies(Yeah, there is still one left here in Columbus) Oh, and stepping over my children because they are usually laid out somewhere in the house.
Here is my 11 year old, notice the remote in the picture THIS child of mine always and I mean always has ther remote control nearby. A true man’s man indeed
This is my 8 year old. This child can fall asleep ANYWHERE! LOL She rides her bike all afternoon and by evening she is whipped
And this is my 14 year old As he is so laid back he just oozes lazy days of summer. We were at the Drive-In when this was taken.
So yeah family fun times laying around the house trying to beat the August Heat!
Fave item in your studio/craft space- why do you love it and how does it inspire you (art or journal+ photo)?
What a great topic! I guess my favorite item is not really an item but a prayer. I have a creativity prayer posted on my office/workspace wall.

I think that it is an awesome testiment to remember to keep myself humble when I have a time of high creativity and to calm myself when I find that I am frustrated or blocked.
