Yes, this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I like many others wanted to help. Of course the notion crossed my mind to get some pink beads and make something and donate the proceeds from any sales to one of the awesome Breast Cancer related foundations, but I was not truly moved by that thought. I was moved however by the story of a woman who, out of the kindness of her heart used her skills in craft and art to make a difference in the lives of those who have been struck by this horrific disease. So instead of making bracelets to sell, I am going to join with my group of fellow jewelry designers and make bracelets to give away in honor of the Bracelet Lady.
